Just in my spam filter, consequences of actually posting this be damned:

There are several ways to make white chili. The most popular way is with pieces of chicken breast. There are generally several types of chilis in a white chili recipe. These chilies include Anaheim’s, jalapenos, green chili and dried New Mexico peppers. White chili is commonly served with heated flour or corn tortillas on the side.

I’m not sure what the point of this was, but the email was from a place I won’t list because I don’t want to give them a link back. All it does is list the location of blogs.

There are three under-loved bands in my world: Reigning Sound, Wax Fang, and The Bees.

Reigning Sound had an album come out a year ago. Wax Fang has one coming out soon, and the Bees just released the video for their new totally awesome single, hosted at the Guardian. Each of their album seems to re-create some genre of music in the style of 60′s psychedelic pop. Their 2002 release Sunshine Hit Me was Merriweather Post Pavilion before Animal Collective even dreamed of making the album. And it’s 10x better. Their 2005 release Free the Bees is perhaps the ultimate summer record, no matter how much Pitchfork shits on it, and applies the spin to classic garage rock. 2007′s Octopus brought the funk. And now, their latest release set to drop sometime soon, though I don’t know when, and by all accounts it’s got a heavy folk infusion.
